“Texas Trio’s Electrifying Escape Plan”

There were these three Texans who were going to go to Mexico to get drunk. They arrived, got drunk, and passed out. When they woke up the next morning, they found themselves in jail. They asked the guards what they were in for, and the guard informed them that they were to be executed for their crimes.

On the day of the execution, the first guy was strapped to the electric chair. The guard asked if he had any last words. The guy said, “I’m from Baylor University, and I believe in the almighty power of God to prevail for the innocent.” The guard flipped the switch, but nothing happened, so they let him go.

Next, the second guy was strapped in, and the guard asked for his last words. He said, “I’m from Texas Tech, and I believe in the almighty power of justice to prevail for the innocent.” The guard flipped the switch, but again, nothing happened, so they let him go.

Finally, the third guy was brought in. He said, “I’m a Texas Aggie electrical engineer, and I’m telling you, you’ll never electrocute anyone if you don’t connect those two wires.”
