Three couples went in to see the minister to inquire about becoming members of his church. The minister informed them that they would need to abstain from sex for two weeks and then report back on their experience. After two weeks, the couples returned to the minister. The retired couple reported that it was no problem for them. The middle-aged couple mentioned that it was challenging for the first week, but then became easier. However, the newlyweds shared a different experience. The husband explained that everything was going well until his wife accidentally dropped a can of paint. He admitted that he couldn’t resist the temptation and they ended up breaking the abstinence rule.
The minister was shocked and expressed his disapproval, stating that they were not welcome in the church. The husband responded humorously, saying, “That’s okay, we’re not welcome in Home Depot either.”
